Vars falls silent for a moment and then smiles. "Happy together but Viktor not comfortable, maybe?"
Vars hadn't said much of anything to his bandmates, to anyone. Another drink down and then Vars just outs with what he's thinking. "Think Viktor afraid not see as strong man if know he with man. Don't know. Don't talk."
Vars is worried because of his past but it's also pretty obvious that his like of Viktor is really deep, if for only how fast he is drinking.
"She known woman back in Norway. Model now and work as doctor." Vars sighs and frowns. "She still say bad about me and make media worse."
The change in topics is good. "I know many languages. Norwegian, German; lot Danish, Swedish, and Finnish but new to English. Not know all spoken yet but work on it."
"I can understand him not being comfortable at times. He might be wanting to act the tough guy all the time? I've seen it in other blokes I know back home. They act all tough so people don't think they're pussy."
It was toxic masculinity and Mick had practically grown up with it crushing him as a person. If you were a man you weren't meant to act tough and date girls. This is what social norms dictated. Vars both loved and despised his ex wife. But the comment from the guitarist got a puzzled look.
"Where Anthean spoke?" He knew of a lot of languages and that wasn't one he had heard before.
"If anyone insulted Ziggy or called him names I'd bust their mouths too. I know what you mean and I think you're a good bloke, Vars."
He patted the punk's arm and then took some more drink, swallowing slowly. It was then he realised what he'd just said. Shit. Oh god. He'd just let slip about the Anthean language without meaning to. Was it the booze? That and an easy tongue.
"Anthean? Uh well---it's a language Ziggy can speak. Sort of foreign, like."
"Ziggy's mother? Yeah, Aletayria she's uh---well, she's tall like a model and from a different country. Not sure where."
Mick had to think fast to cover his tracks. Shit. What if he outed both Ziggy and Aletayria's origins whilst drunk? He'd hate himself for doing so since he loves his alien girlfriend and cares for space mum too. The blond knew he'd have to be more careful in future.

Taking a large gulp of drink, Mick nearly coughed.
"The media can be utter bastards, mate. We've had nothing but bad press from them when it comes to Ziggy and us spiders. They think we're all gay and sleeping with each other in some fucking orgy."
That was old news but it still stung. The media could fuck off though. If Vars did ask Ziggy then Mick hoped the Anthean would be able to explain without giving too much away. So far the secret had been kept without either band member knowing and Mick wanted to keep it that way.
"He's my everything Ziggy is. Ever since I summoned up enough courage back on the train a few months ago---my life has been for the better."

The only thing he can do in response to Mick's claim is knock back another drink. Who the hell knew what was going on with Viktor but that damned punk was under his skin in ways he couldn't shake.
"Good have someone. Life easier when not alone." Vars liked having a partner. Hell, he loved being married and having the same person at his side constantly. He thought about Viktor and then couldn't help laughing at his own thoughts while pouring another drink. He could just imagine the look Viktor would give for anything about him being a wife. At least it lightened some of the darkness hanging over the bassist.
"They think Hunter sleeps with young lads? Fucking sickos. This is what the world is coming to when they assume caring rock stars sleep with the youngsters they look after. If any daft bastard said that to me I'd crack his fucking skull."
Mick frowned and hated the way the media assumed the worst out of everyone just so they could get a bloody story. It was sick. Knocking back a drink of his own the blond could feel the buzz of getting drunk beginning to seep through his veins. It felt good to let it all go with a friend like Vars. He was a crazy tough bastard but talking with him made him less of a crazy punk and more like a normal bloke. At least Mick saw it that way.

A small giggle escaped Mick's lips at that. He couldn't be quiet if his life depended on it especially when Ziggy had his cock down his throat.

He kept on laughing and sipped at his drink. "Had fix bathroom door so Tom not yell. Don't know how broke it." He was too intent on Viktor to care how it got broken, though, probably when Viktor shoved him into it.
"Tell her to shove it, mate. It's what I would do if some girl told me to leave the band. There's no way I'd leave the Spiders. I suppose I'm lucky in that my girl is the lead singer of our band and I'm in love with him."
Mick's eyes misted slightly as he thought about Ziggy and all the times they had touched or brushed up against each other on stage. Now they were a pair and could kiss and be open with one another when they wished. Fuck society. Then Vars was telling about Gilly first meeting Hunter.

"Spend years together. Now speak all Scandinavian. Sometimes hard follow Rik and Aarne when speak all language together." Even Vars got lost sometimes when Rik and Aarne started rambling quickly about something in more than one language.
Vars clinked glasses and downed his drink to pour another. Forgetting Trine existed was hard but the guitarist was right, better not to think about her. "Tour long. Glad for good bands to travel."
