There's a crowd in the lobby and lingering around the front of the hotel, of course there is with all the rockers and what not taking up the top two floors of a hotel in Manhattan. Dean gets the wave through and there's all sorts of murmurings about this unknown person getting the leave in to use the penthouse elevator.
Vars, Aarne and Damien are all in Aarne's room playing a game of knife throwing shots. A dart board on the wall, a pile of throwing knives and shots if you miss the central ring of the dart board. They're not quite trashed yet but it gets worse the longer it goes on. Rik is sitting on the bed laughing at the rowdiness, but he's not about to get involved in this mayhem. Ziggy and Jack are probably around too and likely to stop in, as are any of the random band members as the night goes on.
For someone like Dean, there are a mess of cues that things here are not mainstream. By this time of the night, they are mostly shirtless from drinking and being on the stage earlier. Vars has a very large Fenrir tattoo that takes up his whole left shoulder, as well as a Fenrir collar among his other jewelry when he greets Dean at the door. The Sami drum decorated with world imagery is leaning against the wall among the mess of make up and hair products; no doubt belonging to the tall Fin with the reindeer tattoo, drumsticks in his back pocket, and huge hair. The aurora colored stars across his shoulders and down his back only cementing the idea that this might be a noaidi, a Sami shaman, drummer, and spirit speaker, though they are usually male and Aarne looks more like a woman. The Dane on the bed is a little harder to pin down but the music notes tattooed around his wrist, the silver beads in his hair, and the fact that he's singing a sarcastic song about Damien not being able to hit the broad side of a barn from drink while strumming on a guitar that isn't plugged in, might well suggest Bragi to Dean. Damien, like Aarne, is well over 6 feet tall and has a a dog tattoo and a gun in his boot, as well as a bowie knife strapped at his back.
