"If have to we all fight." Vars didn't see anyone as a defender or the defended. They were a unified front. He didn't even want to think about the chaos of Joe and Aarne, they were a tornado but he could see how it was good to have someone like you around. That felt good.
"Moms and wives use angry full name." He knew all too well about both of those. He didn't often think of Trine anymore, or tried not to very much. He loathed her for how she left and still loved her. It was a mess in his insides where she was concerned.
"Don't know when lose or shut mouth." But the impish half smile from the punk suggests that Vars doesn't see these as bad traits. "Kronidiot think I give up because he says should."
They clashed because they wanted to be close and both wanted the upper hand. It drove Vars to distraction trying to deal with Viktor and his own feelings over the other punk. His divorce was haunting him more lately because of the other punk too. The past left him having a hard time thinking about anything serious or long term or even considering it but he felt it sometimes, especially when they were up to no good together rather than fighting.
